The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. Lord help me keep my focus on the contents of my heart that I will be completely submitted to your will and not for the approval of men (including myself). Please continue to mature my heart to reflect your heart. Amen.

Lord, let me be one who removes & carries people's burdens rather than adding to them. You said Your burden was easy & Your load as light - and I want to be like You.
